Mummy MOT

Get the postnatal check you deserve.

You can now benefit from a screening exam designed especially for postpartum mums, carried out by specially trained Physios and Osteopaths who have received Mummy MOT training and accreditation. We are delighted that one of our osteopaths, Karen Eastwood, has completed this training.

A whole body assessment

Your examination will assess the muscular strength and balance of your whole body with particular focus on your abdominal muscles and your pelvic floor.  It is designed to help you get back to pre-pregnancy strength and to address any concerns that you may have regarding your pelvic floor function such as pain, leakage, scarring, a sense of fullness or heaviness in the vagina.

On this page, we’ve included a video explaining what it’s all about and answered some frequently asked questions regarding the process.
